CAPE COD
The Cape is over 62 miles long, and Provincetown is at the very end. Known as the Outer Cape or the Lower Cape -- Eastham, Wellfleet, Truro and Provincetown have some of the most amazing beaches and dunes. Wellfleet and Provincetown also have some incredible restaurants, gallaries and great little shops. If you are not familar with the Cape there are a lot of great towns to explore along the way, and you can take the ferry to Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard as well. There is a bike trail that runs over 1/2 the length of the Cape on the old railroad tracks.
Hensche Lane
The "Beach House" is located on Hensche Lane, an easy quarter of a mile walk from Commercial Street in Provincetown. The House is just .5 to the bay, 2 miles to Race Point, and 4 miles to Herring Cove. The town is highly accessible by walking and biking, and there are National Seashore trails close by.
The house is actually a three floor condo with a garage, 2 bedrooms, 1.5 baths, a front porch and an enclosed fenced in area, complete with hammock, grill and outdoor table and chairs. There is parking for one car in garage and two in front of the garage.
Since this is not a rental and is used by only myself, friends and family, and the occassional friend of a friend the house is furnished accordingly. The kitchen has all one needs if one is so inclined to cook. There are radios for your ipod to dock into, a TV and dvd player, sheets, towels, washer & dryer, beach accessories and even bikes. The house is meant to be a comfortable place to relax and enjoy. I'll leave instructions on the side of the fridge regarding garbage, laundry, wireless password, etc.
